From 10 to 15 May 2026, the 2nd national stakeholder workshop on the Water-Energy-Food nexus of the EPEIC Africa project for the Tana River basin was held in Nairobi.
This workshop, which brought together consortium members in the meeting room of the East African Regional Training Institute for Meteorology, provided (i) a review of the work carried out on ‘policy coherence and the data simulation tool using an AI agent’ and (ii) training on the Transition Space.
Over five days, participants from various sectors gained insights into sustainable WEF management based on scenario analysis and participatory discussions.
For Dr Rafatou FOFANA, lead of the VBA, this highly valuable participation serves as a foundation for the next workshop, which will be held in Accra, Ghana, in June 2026.
