RECRUITMENT NOTICE FOR AN ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANT

As part of the implementation of the REWarD-Volta River project (Reversing the Degradation of Ecosystems and Water Resources in the Volta Basin), financed by the GEF (Global Environment Facility) over a period of sixty (60) months or five (05) years, the Volta Basin Authority (VBA) is looking for an Administrative and Financial Assistant.

Candidates must be nationals of one of the six (06) VBS member states (Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Mali and Togo) with residence in Burkina Faso and hold at least a BTS/DUT (Bac+2/3) in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, with at least 5 years’ experience, including at least three (03) in a project financed by the GEF, UNEP, IUCN or other international donors. Additional requirements are set out in the ToR.

Application form

▪A letter of application clearly stating the job title, addressed to the Executive Director of the ABV ;
▪A detailed, recent curriculum vitae, certified as sincere and accompanied by the names and contact details of three referees, including those of a recent employer;
▪A certified copy of qualifications;
▪An extract from a birth certificate or legal adoption certificate or suppletive judgment in lieu thereof;
▪A copy of the certificate of nationality or any other document proving nationality;
▪Two (2) passport photos.
